Institutional Equities Back Office Operations

We are seeking a seasoned and well-experienced Institutional Equities Back Office Specialist to manage and oversee the operational aspects of our Institutional clientele for their Cash and Futures & Options segments. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth trade processing, compliance adherence, client coordination, and system management to support the firm's trading activities.

Key Responsibilities: Trade Operations and Settlement:
• Execute and oversee the trade process for Institutional clientele cash and F&O transactions. Independently manage daily intraday and end-of-day files for the institutional clients.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades by coordinating with clients and clearing custodians. Client Management; Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
• Handle client registration, empanelment, and KYC compliance. Maintain and update client master setups in the system.
• Address and resolve client queries related to exchanges, compliance, and account discrepancies.
• Manage CP code updates, OTR file submissions, and 6A/7A file requirements. Address compliance-related inquiries and ensure adherence to exchange regulations System Testing and Implementation; co-ordination and support:
• Participate in system development by testing and implementing updates to enhance back-office functionality.
• Work closely with clients, custodians, and exchanges for hand delivery trades (if any) and settlement processes. Ensure timely receipt of funds and stock for all transactions. Reporting and Documentation; Reconciliation and Record Maintenance:
• Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports in both Cash & F&O segment. Process contract notes accurately and in a timely manner. Cultivate various reports for management and regulatory purposes as needed.
• Maintain and reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Monitor outstanding brokerage and ensure timely follow-up for margin and fund settlements.

Qualifications (Min 10 years + of experience):
• Bachelors degree / MBA (preferably) in Finance.

Functional competencies Proven experience in back-office operations, preferably within Institutional Equities.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, KYC processes, and trade settlements. Proficiency in handling systems for trade uploads (e.g., NSE/BSE platforms).
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in handling client queries and ensuring exceptional client service.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
