Manager Legal Ipr

My client is a automotive manufacturing giant looking to hire a Legal Manager for Intellectual property who will a part of the Legal-IPR team, will provide legal support to the internal stakeholders in their line of business on all intellectual property rights related matters (including patents, trademarks, designs & copyrights).Roles & Responsibilities:Support local and international technology center, product development, and marketing teams on patents, designs, and copyright matters.Manage stakeholders and collaborate with global law firms on intellectual property rights (IPR) issues.Provide strategy in patents, designs, trademarks, and copyright matters, including conducting various searches and risk assessments.Draft and vet patent specifications/applications, handle IP-related litigation, and enforce IP rights.Draft technology-related agreements and contracts, including assignment/licensing of IPR.Ensure timely renewal and protection of patents, designs, and trademarks.Negotiate with third parties and possess strong drafting skills.Desired Skills : Should have 7 to10 years or more of post-qualification experience as a IP/ patent lawyer in a reputable IP law firm, or in-house experience with the legal department, preferably in a multinational companyShould have expertise in handling IPR related matters (patents, designs, trademarks), from filing for registration of IP to handling disputes in various jurisdictionsSound legal knowledge and analytical approach to legal issues (exposure to project management) Experience of working in an IP law firm and automobile manufacturing company is preferable Strong communication and drafting skills and fluency in English (both written and oral).Able to work in the team Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Must be excellent in MS office and comfortable with new technologyWork experience in the Electric Vehicle and automobile Industry is good
