About the Role:

We are looking for a Product manager to join National Pen and own a product end to end. Our Product Managers will need to understand the business requirements, issues and challenges of the eCommerce sector.

What you will do:

  • You will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders in order to gather and assess product requirements; help prioritize them and, as Product Managers in the agile process, communicate with the development teams.
  • You should be well aware of Agile Scrum practices and are expected to be an active participant in all Agile Scrum ceremonies.
  • You will work with multiple engineering teams throughout the delivery process ensuring stories and requirements are of a high quality. We need someone who can bring a passion for solving complex and challenging problems while being a solid leader.
  • You will maintain the product road map, create business use cases for new services, features and functions to support customer demands, growth strategies and profitability targets.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult business requirements to the development team and present it logically but from the Business point of view.
  • You also should be a self-starter requiring little or no guidance in performing your daily tasks or carrying out your duties.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Evaluating business needs, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and driving the solutions along with the team.
  • Conducting Agile ceremonies like Story Refinement, Sprint Demo and constantly engaging with team members.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Evaluating, documenting and communicating risks to stakeholders well in time and providing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Helping quality analysis by providing test scenarios.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with development team and business stakeholders.
  • Providing training, coaching, and guidance to new members of the team.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing Business priorities and providing timely updates on progress.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of sprint goals.

Required skills:

  • Through knowledge of and at least 3 years experience in Agile Scrum practices. (mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience in Jira and Agile story writing. (mandatory)
  • Strong experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations. (mandatory)
  • Proven ability to create draft wireframes and mocks. (preferred)
  • Strong experience in user acceptance testing. (preferred)
  • Experience with a public facing multilingual omnichannel e-commerce site. (mandatory)
  • Exceptional analytical thinking skills. (mandatory)
  • A proven track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent oral & written communication skills. (mandatory).
    • Experience in leading and supporting successful cross-functional teams. (mandatory).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 3+ Years of Business Experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Mass Customization a Plus
  • Understands and communicates in English

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in scaling processes for growing product teams.
  • Exposure to working with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams.
