Job Title: Business Analyst - Ecommerce

They are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their dynamic team and contribute to their data analytics capabilities.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, data modelling, and business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience using dbt (Data Build Tool) , at least 2 years of working knowledge with BigQuery or Snowflake , and hands-on experience with one of the following BI tools: Looker , Sigma , or Metabase . A solid understanding of the ecommerce industry is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective data models using dbt (Data Build Tool) .
Utilise BigQuery or Snowflake to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Looker , Sigma , or Metabase to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and provide data-driven recommendations.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the ecommerce industry.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform business strategies.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modelling.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with BigQuery or Snowflake as data warehousing solutions.
Proficiency in one of the following BI tools: Looker , Sigma , or Metabase .
Strong knowledge and understanding of the ecommerce industry and its metrics.
Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
