Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, a passion for working with large datasets, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of data from various sources.

- Develop and optimize data models and database structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.

- Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.

- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.

- Experience with AWS cloud platform and its data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EMR, RDS).

- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).

- Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
