Inviting applications for the role of
Assistant Vice President, OperationsIn this role, we are looking for an expert to guide and manage a team of Accounts Payable Professionals working through high volume, complex transactions with a sharp focus on Supplier Satisfaction.
Responsibilities•Ownership of day-to-day Operations to deliver predictable output and oversee key business metrics like aging and supplier escalations.•Actively engage with senior client stakeholders to understand the ever-changing business needs•Leverage your experience to proactively build and maintain an efficient and effective delivery architecture to drive business results in line with client’s prioritized objectives• Challenge the status quo to constantly discover process improvement opportunities•Collaborate with the Transformation team to identify and execute new ideas, including smart automation
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications• MBA in Finance or qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) with rich experience in a similar role•Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics optimize Operations
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills•Proven understanding of I2P concepts, processes, key controls, and ability to manage a large team in a remote environment•Exposure in a large scale, complex Retail environment with an understanding of business life cycle• Passionate about solving problems, and tenacity to develop ideas in a fast-paced environment• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – ability to interact with and influence global audience• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results•Open minded with ability to encourage people, question status quo and challenge the team to do better everyday•Open minded with ability to encourage people, question status quo and challenge the team to do better everyday•Attention to detail, ability to connect the dots and ask intelligent questions• Familiarity with the latest technologies used in I2P processes and application thereof will be a big plus
