Design Engineer Transmission Line

Our client is an leading provider ofpower transmission solutions in India and abroad. We offer endtoendservices from design engineering procurement constructioncommissioning operation and maintenance of power transmissioninfrastructure. We have executed projects in various terrains andchallenging environments including high altitude desert coastal andurban areas. We have also diversified into renewable energy smartgrid and digital solutions to cater to the evolving needs of ourcustomers and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
Shall beresponsible for collecting all inputs to carry out the designactivities that are under his area of work.
Mustbe capable of reading the technical specification and able toidentify the different clauses related to Tower Design andFoundation Design.
Review and ensure optimumdesign before submission to client.
Ensurequantity control & optimization of civil &structural quantities.
Interact with projectexecution team for resolving the problem.
Witness Tower Testing at Different test Beds
Prepare BOQ and design documents which are required atpreTender stage.
Post award of Job Submissionand get approval for all design related documents fromClient.
Maintain all the Engineering Documentsas per ISO norms set by the management.
Technical Expertise:
Technical Expertise inactivities of Route Selection Profiles Sag Tension Charts design ofTransmission Line towers foundations gantry structures. DesignEngineer shall be able to review design the detailed drawings forTL towers. Shall be able to design all types of foundations (pad& Chimney/ Isolated Foundation Combined Foundation pilefoundations etc). Should be aware of design calculations as percodes of domestic & international codes. Should haveknowledge on selecting the Test Load cases for Towers. Able toprepare Stringing Chart for site. Conversant with Indian Standardsand international standards like BS UBC ACI ASCE related for TL andFoundation design.
