Our client is a market leader in the technology space. They manufacture various computer games and applications. They are looking to hire a Purchase manager based out of Pune
Job Description
Reporting to the CFO, the major roles and responsibilities include:
Managing the entire IT hardware, software and other non IT categories such as travel, facilities. MRO etc Planning and coordinating effectively the procurement process with the internal stakeholders Conducting effectively supplier & pricing comparisons from multiple & relevant sources to recommend the most efficient solution for an optimized purchasing value Understanding, managing and optimizing effectively internal procurement processes and policies Understanding, planning and managing effectively the different steps of a procurement cycle
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate is someone with 7+ years of experience in managing sourcing and procurement of IT as well as non IT categories. They should have worked on supplier management and would be well versed with negotiations. They should have strong stakeholder management ability. They should possess clear and concise communication skills.
