Responsibilities

  • Open Purchase Requisition Tracking
  • Making purchase orders and tracking open purchase orders
  • Researching the vendors that are selling the best products at competitive prices.
  • Overlooking Creditor’s ageing report on a continuous basis.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Negotiating with vendors to arrive at affordable pricing.
  • Consumption tracking
  • Payment approvals & executing payments
  • Planning and executing cost-effective purchasing strategies.
  • Presenting inventory reports to higher management.

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven 5 + years of experience working as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or a similar role.
  • Infrastructure industry background will be preferred.
