Analytical Engineer I

Job Summary:
FEA engineer to support global and local product engineering teams across RegalRexnord to execute FEA simulations to validate coupling designs. He will be responsible to drive productivity and efficiency.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
Carry out Static/Dynamic, Linear/Nonlinear, Thermal and Thermomechanical FEA (Finite element analysis) of couplings products. Perform Low Cycle Fatigue and High Cycle Fatigue assessment of couplings products. FEA results post processing & results interpretation. Creation of technical reports. Share best practices among the team members. Liaison with internal and external stakeholder for having relevant data and information. Driving efficiency and productivity.Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Postgraduate (M.E/M. Tech) from premier institutes in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent having FEA as one of their core subjects. 1-2 years of proven experience in simulation of mechanical components using FEA software Abaqus (both Solver & CAE). Proficient in engineering mechanics and mechanical design. Experience in creation of technical documents, review and presentations. Experience in simulation of rubber and plastic components using Hyperelastic and Viscoelastic material models will be added advantage. Should be proactive to help design engineers to have optimum and robust product and participate in design reviews. A team player should be able to cooperatively work in multi-disciplinary environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good knowledge about different types of materials like metals, composite, rubbers and plastics etc. Good knowledge in Assembly process.LOCATION: Regal Rexnord Office, Hyderabad, India
