Data Lake Technical Leader

MISSION

As any other member of the team, you will :

Explain Michelin employees what the Corporate Data Lake can do for them Setup workspaces for them Provide coaching and expertise through face to face meeting or on community channels Participate to the platform support effort in a "you build it you run it" approach Contribute to early design phases defining the future of the Corporate Data Lake

As a DevSecOps, you will bring expertize to the team on the following subjects :

Security : you will be a key actor to ensure security risk of a cloud based data intensive solution are under control Automation : you will promote and implement any solution that can automate manual actions and in this way support the deployment at scale of the services and the reduction of the support effort Infrastructure and middlewares : from early design to evergreen, through provisioning, you handle subjects related to infrastucture (VMs, network) and middleware installation and configuration.

As Tech Lead, you will lead the CDL team and the CDL product toward technical progress :

Translate CDL roadmap into activable backlog items and build associated risk mitigation Draft low level designs from high level or Architect designs Support/promote technical choices and decisions to other CDL Team Members Make sure technical knowledge infuse into all CDL Team Members Coach other Corporate Data Lake team members from a technical standpoint Manage obsolescence

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Technical leadership of others team members in the Azure ecosystem Demonstrate on a daily basis Agile & Lean values like cooperation, transparency, courage and humility to foster teamwork Continuously think on how to become more effective then tunes and adjusts team norms and helps to update DCTI standards Users feedbacks captured through support, direct coaching or community platform are recorded and shared with the product owners of the platform Security risk analysis study (EBios method) are animated, reported and actions plan is tracked Continuous Integration : The continuous integration development practices are implemented. Configuration/Release Management : The configuration of items is managed on all solution artefacts (application code, system configuration, scripts, batch plan, supervision configuration…) and from development environment to production environment. Automation Delivery and Packaging : The continuous delivery is implemented and improving regularly. The frequency of delivery is consistent with project needs and business availability to validate the solution Operability, affordability and security : The application is operable and sustainable on the long run. In consequence the operation teams are autonomous to operate, and apply standards regarding security (user management, audits, …)

SKILLS

Many skills are required for this position, or will be developed into this position, out of which the most prominent are :

Infrastructure and platforms Security IT support and troubleshooting Teamwork and collaboration Customer focus Intercultural work

A experience of 10 years at least is required, along with fluent professional English : this position comes with direct contact with users all around the globe, and working in a team based in France and in India.
