Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. This role is crucial in building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable backend services that power our applications. If you’re a self-motivated developer with expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and a strong understanding of AWS and CI/CD pipelines, we’d love to hear from you

Experience Level: 5-8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Utilize NestJS for building structured and maintainable backend architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality products.
  • Implement and manage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) for robust, scalable applications.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and continuous delivery of services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance and reliability.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and scalability by conducting thorough code reviews and adhering to best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development, primarily using JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Proficiency with NestJS (or a similar Node.js framework) for building backend services.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS) and hands-on experience with cloud deployment.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Typescript.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture.
  • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
