Position Overview:
We are a fast-growing smart home company that has already disrupted this space with many innovations. We design and build the entire range of smart home products. Our clients are owners of premium and luxury homes. Our smart home products are designed to meet both the functional and aesthetic needs of luxury homes.
We are looking for an experienced Stores Assistant Manager to join our organization. The Store's Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the inventory and storage of goods within the organization. This position involves overseeing the receipt, storage, distribution, and documentation of materials, products, and supplies to ensure smooth operations and timely availability of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, incoming and outgoing shipments, and stock movement.
Regularly update the inventory database or management system to reflect current stock quantities and locations.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts and facilitate efficient reorder processes.
Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of items, quantities, and documentation.
Inspect received goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and document findings.
Collaborate with procurement and quality control teams to address any issues with received items.
Storage and Organization:
Ensure efficient utilization of storage space, implementing organized storage methods for easy retrieval and optimal space management.
Properly label and categorize items to minimize retrieval time and enhance inventory accuracy.
Distribution and Fulfillment:
Coordinate the distribution of materials, products, and supplies to the appropriate departments or locations.
Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit and maintain accurate records of distributed items.
Documentation and Reporting:
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and stock movements.
Maintain documentation of receipts, issues, returns, and transfers for audit and tracking purposes.
Stock Rotation and Shelf-Life Management:
Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO), and first-expiry, first-out (FEFO) principles to ensure proper stock rotation.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, procurement, production, and quality control, to ensure alignment on inventory needs and accuracy.
Health and Safety:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling, storing, and distributing materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the store area.

Qualifications:
Education background should include a Diploma or Graduation in any stream
Ideally 4+ years of expertise in stores and inventory management in lighting companies or e-commerce industries
Good communication skills – English, Hindi and Telugu
Proficiency in MS-Excel
Strong interpersonal abilities
