As we continue to expand our market presence globally, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director Sales for our Paints & Waterproofing business.

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to take on the role of Director Sales for our Paints business. This role is pivotal in driving our international business development efforts and managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Paints, Waterproofing, Coatings, Construction Chemicals, industry and possess extensive experience in international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency across the vertical.

2. International Business Development: Spearhead the expansion of our market presence globally, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

3. P&L Management: Manage the Profit & Loss of the business, driving profitability and sustainable growth.

4. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and market expansion goals.

5. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.

6. Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree from a reputed institute (Top B-School) is highly desirable.

- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the Waterproofing, Paints, Coatings, Construction Chemicals, industry.

- Extensive experience in international business development, with a deep understanding of global markets and cultural nuances.

- Proven financial acumen with significant experience managing P&L responsibilities and driving business profitability.

- Demonstrated success in scaling up an organization, with experience leading business turnarounds and achieving rapid growth.

- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
