Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer (Java, SQL) - SDE IVWe’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for a US-based enterprise software product company that builds cutting-edge AI-driven data connectivity and integration platforms . Their products help global enterprises connect, unify, and access data across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem systems in real time . With engineering teams in the US, Japan, and India , this is an opportunity to work on high-performance backend systems used by thousands of organizations worldwide.Role OverviewAs a Senior Backend Engineer , you will design and develop Java-based frameworks, data connectors, and SQL-driven integration layers . You’ll collaborate with global teams to build scalable backend services and mentor junior developers in best practices for performance, data consistency, and cloud-native design.What You’ll DoDevelop and optimize backend components using Core Java, Spring Boot, and SQL .Work on database connectivity , schema design, and query optimization.Collaborate with architects on data connector and integration frameworks .Ensure scalability, performance, and security in all deliverables.Contribute to technical design, reviews, and mentoring of junior developers.What We’re Looking For8+ years of experience in Java-based backend engineering .Deep expertise in SQL / RDBMS internals , query tuning, and database design.Hands-on with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and multithreaded applications .Familiarity with cloud (AWS / Azure) , CI/CD , Docker/Kubernetes preferred.Prior product development or data integration experience is a plus.Strong ownership, clean-code habits, and mentoring mindset.Location Bangalore, India (Hybrid) — 3 days office, 2 days remote.Compensation ₹ 35–45 LPAAbout the CompanyA US-headquartered product-based enterprise software firm with a global presence in the US, Japan, and India , delivering AI-powered data connectivity solutions that drive digital transformation for Fortune-500 clients.How to ApplySend your resume and a short note on why you’d be a great fit to:
