100% Remote | Senior Backend Engineer | Eltropy (fintech SaaS Firm)About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices that power our communication platform for financial institutions. You’ll work with Golang or Java, modern cloud infrastructure, and robust data systems to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions with clean architecture.What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs. - Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver features end-to-end. - Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. - Review code, mentor peers, and uphold quality standards. - Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues. - Work with DevOps to ensure smooth AWS deployments. - Stay current with backend and cloud technology trends.Job qualifications:- 3–8 years’ backend development experience with microservices architecture. - Strong skills in Java and/or Golang (Node.js a plus). - Solid experience with Postgres, MongoDB, Redis. - Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS). - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong SQL/NoSQL query skills. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Bonus Skills- React or frontend tech experience. - Message brokers (RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS). - Agile/Scrum experience.Why Join Eltropy?- Build mission-critical systems for leading financial institutions. - Modern tech stacks in a fast-growing SaaS company. - 100% remote, engineering-led culture. - Opportunity to own and shape core backend architecture.About EltropyEltropy is a rocket ship FinTech on a mission to disrupt the way people access financial services.
