Position Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Corporate Communication to lead and manage our communication strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in public relations, social media management, employer branding, and both external and internal business communication, preferably within the pharmacy or healthcare sector.
Reporting to : Director - Business Development & Strategy
Key Deliverables:
Public Relations:
Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and visibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
Coordinate press releases, media briefings, and interviews; manage crisis communication when necessary.
Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Social Media Management:
Oversee the creation and execution of social media strategies across all platforms (e.g., , Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
Develop engaging content that aligns with the organization’s brand voice and objectives.
Track social media performance using analytics tools; generate reports and insights to optimize strategy.
Manage social media advertising campaigns and collaborations.
External Business Communication:
Craft and disseminate key messages, presentations, and other communication materials for external stakeholders.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums.
Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all external communication channels.
Internal Business Communication:
Develop and manage internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
Create and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and updates.
Facilitate effective communication between management and staff, fostering a positive workplace environment.
Employer Branding:
Design and implement strategies to enhance the organization’s employer brand and attract top talent.
Develop compelling content for recruitment materials, career sites, and employee engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to promote the company culture and employee value proposition .
Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute communication plans aligned with organizational goals.
Manage budgets related to communication activities and campaigns.
Analyze communication effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, with a strong focus on social media management and employer branding.
Proven track record of successfully managing PR campaigns, social media strategies, and internal/external communication.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media, stakeholders, and employees.
Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
