The successful candidate will be responsible for the artistic vision of game production set out by the Product team and use the artwork provided by the Lead Artist and use 2D animation to bring artwork to life.Role and responsibilitiesLiaising with front end development team members and design teamsResearching and developing technical tools for a projectSetting up workflows of art productionSupporting artists and programmersAssisting in asset performance and validationDeveloping and maintaining resources and pipelines along with programmersPorting finished art to the game engineEnsuring final art runs to full visual resolutionWorking within the limits of the game engine, curating file sizesEnforcing standards as outlined by heads of departmentsPreparing and designing character systems such as skeletons, cloths, effect emittersOptimising environments and establishing physics barriersMonitoring the performance of the gameResolving minor changes and technical issues with regards to animation, resizing and any other unforeseen changes to existing artwork and animation.Required Experience :High attention to detailA strong portfolio or demo reelSolid understanding of art and animation pipelinesRendering and post-effects experienceUnderstanding of rigging and animationExperience in physics simulationsShader development experienceCreative mindset and ability to overcome technical challengesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with differences between creative and technical teamsExperience of animation and special effects softwareSpineAdobe After Effects, PhotoshopMaya, 3DSmax, Blender or other related 3D modelling/animating toolsTexture PackerShoeBox or related font creation softwarePixiJSEven better if you have...Experience in the iGaming industryAngularJSONJira/BitbucketJavascript/TypescriptHTML5CSSLet me know if you are interested...#GameArtist #SlotGameDeveloper #2DAnimator #Animation
