We are specifically looking for a hands-on, Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Storage Services Group to drive mission critical programs for the File Storage teams. Understanding various cloud technologies and technical trade-offs, the ideal candidate will be an exceptional problem solver, strong communicator (both written and verbal), have a well-rounded technical background, and come with a history of leading large-scale projects end-to-end.

Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best-in-class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

Help define and deliver critical programs with competing priorities by influencing roadmaps and priorities of key stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain our roadmaps, set appropriate expectations, and ensure the services meet our high operational excellence standards. Take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, build detailed project schedules, then drive the delivery in a successful and timely manner. Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation. Identify process gaps, improve current processes, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity. Gain a deep technical understanding of OCI Storage services and be able to drive the technical direction of the teams, working with cross-functional, cross-service organizations. Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Lead interactions with cross functional teams consisting of UX designers, engineers, product managers and executive leadership. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; CSM and PMP are a plus 8+ years managing large scale technical software programs. Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities. Understanding of SDLC and modern application development A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically. Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment. Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at different levels in the org, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling Preferred Qualifications :
Experience managing cloud development projects, especially in the storage space. Experienced in high tech, S/W environment, familiarity with Compute/Storage solutions Experience with Microsoft Project or OmniPlan
