The Master Trainer (Mathematics) will review any existing course material, (re)design and relaunch the programme for government school teachers of Telangana and eventually for AKS teachers where required. The person appointed will be responsible for the delivery and modification of the programme course content, designing presentations and creating training manuals and materials. They will also be responsible for the training and development of programme facilitators and will ensure high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities:

To develop and deliver a Mathematics Training Programme for the targeted audience To perform periodic needs assessments and baseline assessments To mark and analyze results from selection testing and to conduct regular impact studies which are grounded in high-quality data collection To provide comprehensive learning support to programme participants. To maintain attendance and performance records of the course participants To maintain communication between the course participants and the Head of CERT To develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and community organizations. To maintain relations with government school leadership where required To coordinate Portfolios as allocated by the Head of CERT To work closely with the AKS network of schools to be up to date on delivery of the PLES –PTM globally.

The requirements

A Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics Instructional Design A minimum of five years of relevant experience. Experience in course development and instructional design skills. Familiarity with adult teaching and learning in numeracy and mathematics. Experience in the monitoring and evaluation of programmes Experience in conducting programme evaluation or educational research Excellent communication skills, both in spoken and written English Experience of teaching in multilingual, multi-cultural settings of the Indian context Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods Ability to use statistics and advanced qualitative evaluation software (e.g. SPSS, NVivo) Experience in delivering professional development programs to teachers through virtual learning environments is highly desirable.
