DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities Technical & Mechanical Tasks Rebuild engines ranging from to QSK78 , including both mechanical and electronic systems. Rebuild sub-assemblies such as liner-piston , oil cooler , aftercooler , and oil pan . Inspect components for wear, damage, and usability before assembly. Perform dry leak testing on engines and components. Maintain 5S standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately. Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and procedures. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in HSE training and promote a safety-first culture. Identify and correct hazards within control and capability. Quality & Delivery Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship. Perform supervised work using diagrams, manuals, and specifications. Conduct quality inspections and provide feedback for preventive maintenance. Follow all process documentation and quality procedures. Track and record data related to component performance and rebuilds. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement Communicate effectively with peers and support teams. Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Assist with preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance activities. Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES Qualifications Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering OR ITI/NCTVT certification with 5+ years of relevant experience in engine rebuilding or maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS Skills and Experience Technical Skills Strong understanding of engine systems , components, and their functions. Proficient in handling and using various gauges and measurement tools . Experience in component inspection , data tracking , and recording . Familiarity with dry leak testing and sub-assembly rebuilds . Experience Entry-level to intermediate experience depending on educational background. Candidates with ITI/NCTVT certification should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in engine rebuilding and maintenance.
