Core accountabilities
Providing supportcoordination and advice on health and safety practices systemsand
procedures including coaching and support at theIndian site.
Providing insight and guidance on Indiansafety and environmental statutory and
regulatory
requirements to 5B HQ.
Lead riskassessment processes for activities at the Indian site especiallywith regards to
factory safety around machineryergonomics and manual handling and line of fire; to
ensure that risks are controlled and communicatedappropriately
Maintaining and implementing the WHSpolicy management plans systems and
procedures includingcrane & lifting equipment electrical safety andisolations
ergonomics
and manual handlingmobile plant & traffic control waste management etc.
Ensure hazards & incidents occurring at the Indian site arereported via the 5B reporting
systems and procedures andinvolved in leading the investigation process as the EHS
manager onsite and communicating reports to 5B HQ.
Assisting with the closeout of corrective actions andinitiatives.
Conducting regular site inspections reviewsand audits to schedule
Conducting inductions toolboxtalks and delivering training sessions
Assist withengagement and communication with employees subcontractors andother
stakeholders
Ensuring contractorprequalification and management procedures are implementedand
maintained.
Ensuring that EHS recordsincluding prestart checks and Take 5s are captured and
maintained within our record management system andprocesses.
Responsible for the issuing of PPE
Responsible for the development and implementation of siteEmergency Management
Plans
and evacuationdiagrams.
Responsible for ensuring first aid isavailable and accessible to workers and implementing
appropriate injury management and return to workprocesses.
