Manager – Operational Risk Management

Core Operational Responsibilities:
Ensure continual improvement in operational risks at all levels. The position is required to adopt a partnership approach to understand underlying risks and recommend appropriate fit-for-purpose practices in all COEs & enabling functions such as Facilities, HR, Finance, Procurement, IT, etc. ▪ Play the role of an enabler and simplify overall Risk framework (Operational Risks, Strategic Risks, Financial Risks, Geo-political, etc.) ▪ Review, adherence and update to Operational Risk Management framework in line with the Group framework ▪ Plan and conduct entity level risk identification and risk quantification in line with group framework ▪ Support direct report in detailed investigations of key incidents reported in incident tool ▪ Engage with stakeholders to revise entity level key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor on periodic basis ▪ Perform risk assessments for strategic projects and initiatives ▪ Track risk response action tracker with stakeholders and report on periodic basis ▪ Ensure timely renewal of corporate insurance policies and corporate claim reimbursements ▪ Prepare/Review dashboards for key activities listed above in various forums like RRC, QRM, Exec reporting etc. ▪ Actively participates in the development of risk policies, review and update operating procedures ▪ Work collaboratively with the team to support implementation of Group driven Risk based Internal Control framework by aligning macro processes ▪ Embed and align Internal Control framework into operational risk management ▪ Support 1st line in detailed investigations of key incidents reported in incident tool ▪ Perform gap analysis, conduct testing of potential risk areas, challenge self-assessments and identify reportable issues ▪ Periodically provide training and guidance to staff on various areas of Operational Risk Management and Internal Controls (build awareness).
Education and Experience
▪ Overall work experience between 10-14 years with relevant experience of 6+ years ▪ Bachelor’s degree required ▪ Operational Risk experience required ▪ Should understand Internal Control framework; exposure/experience will be preferred ▪ Advanced degree/background in Operational Risk preferred ▪ Certifications in any areas of risks management will be an added advantage, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, CGRC, CRISC

▪ Strong stakeholder management, ability to communicate with conviction and influence at all levels in the organization ▪ Agile and Reliable in meeting deliverables under tight deadlines ▪ Work independently and achieve autonomy within short time ▪ Proactive, self-driven, ability to operate with minimal supervision, multi-task and prioritize work ▪ Good documentation skills, Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively ▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail ▪ Ability to identify and drive process improvements ▪ Training skills to educate 1-LOD on various risk management areas ▪ Ability to handle process escalations, identify issues and risks and propose resolution ▪ Team player, to work harmoniously as part of a team
Technical Competencies
▪ Exposure to Risk Identification, Quantification, Key Risk Indicators, Incident Management, Risk Assessments, Internal Control testing ▪ Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint ▪ Ability to perform tasks on multiple computer application
