Factory Head

Purpose of the Job :

The Factory head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence and contributing to the continued success and growth of our company.

Role & responsibilities:

• Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.

• Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.

• Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.

• Take corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve processes.

• Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a safe working environment for all employees.

• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as required.

• Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate raw material availability.

• Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Preferred candidate profile:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• MBA would be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 15+ years of overall experience in Packaging Industry / Out of which 8 to 10 years in Corrugation industry is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the corrugation sector.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of local language is mandetory
