RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide leadership, guidance, collaboration, and alignment across formulations business units to drive operational Excellence and change management- Identify scope for yield improvement in the production process and drive measures for the same- Drive process excellence initiatives using CI framework, tools, resources, and methodology- Handle multi-functional Projects and programs, Business process reengineering projects with internal and external partners to create the best customer experience, value for business growth, and profitability- Explore process simplification, work standardization and waste elimination initiatives through various Lean methodologies, tools, and techniques- Prepare strategy, implementation, and ground-level execution of TPM to maximize plant efficiency- Work with the site leadership team and global counterpart to drive a “best in class” continuous improvement roadmap that aligns with business strategy and ensures business transformation initiatives- Propose and implement innovative ideas towards improvements in process efficiency, productivity, delivery, quality, yield, safety resulting in effective and efficient operations- Managing the troubleshooting activity cycle at the site, ensuring identification of appropriate corrective measures, and driving structured implementation of these measures through cross-functional teams- Support formulation production & quality teams and drive cross-functional efforts- Provide cost-efficient services and achieving excellence- Create and own assessment of all aspects of strategy & performance of the company, design, and fine-tune appropriate measures, evaluate metrics and outputs, and report on business performance- Engage with the wider process excellence and external process excellence communities to drive best practices and learnings- Drive continuous improvement through leadership behaviors- Demonstrate business acumen through a commitment to on-time delivery, cost, safety, quality objectives and sustainable cultural change

DESIRED SKILLS

- Experience in operation excellence in formulations plants of a reputed pharmaceutical organization- Experience in all process improvement activities in an OSD - formulations plant- Proven track record of providing yield improvement ideas and implementation- Experience in troubleshooting activities- Proven knowledge of defining and executing strategies- Experience in production or technology transfer department preferred- Knowledge of all activities related to regulatory compliances and cGMP guidelines- Excellent Communication, eye for detail, analytical, and critical thinking skills- Should be assertive, proactive, and self-driven- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
