Opportunity to work in a global VC Fund Opportunity to work in an India focused role About Our Client Our client is a leading global venture capital fund investing in early-to-mid stage companies in the technology sector in India Job Description As an Analyst in the ECM Team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to - Performing due diligence including valuation analysis for primary, secondary, and other equity offerings with a primary focus on India equity Build and maintain company financial models and perform sound valuation analysis based on Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) & Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DHRP) in a timely manner Represent us at meetings with corporate management teams and sell-side syndicate desks with a goal to developing relationships to secure desired allocations in the book building process Interacting with sell-side sales and research contacts Work with India VC team to evaluate late-stage opportunities and build a pipeline of late-stage relationships that would be useful at the time of book building Providing insights to VC team on how public market would value our investment on exit Assist in facilitating block trades in our public companies positions after lock up The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate - 10+ years of relevant experience analysing securities (Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Equity Research Associate, Buy Side Analyst or similar), with significant experience working on capital markets transactions Demonstrated experience reviewing Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) & Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DHRP) with the ability to obtain reliable valuation analysis to inform investment strategies Strong numerical and modelling skills and well-versed in financial concepts such as financial statement analysis, accounting, valuation techniques and financial modelling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Existing relationships with IB/ECM desk are preferred Self-motivated with a passion in equity research and a willingness to learn Intellectually curious and well networked
