Senior Accountant (Semi - Qualified CA) (Location: Bangalore) We are looking for Semi-Qualified CA s with “full cycle accounting” experience in a trading and distribution or manufacturing business , spanning multiple states. You must have excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze and prepare financial statements and forecasts. You should also have experience in collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants. You will be a part of around 40-member accounts team headed by a CFO (FCA) and 3 qualified CAs. Responsibilities include: 1. Ensure statutory compliances for direct and indirect taxes, licenses, and registrations with various departments 2. Timely and accurate file of assigned statutory returns 3. Ensure that internal controls are followed, identify errors, gaps, inefficiencies and suggest new controls or update SOPs as needed 4. General accounting operations, maintain general ledgers and perform month-end closures 5. Controlling and verifying financial transactions and supporting documents 6. Prepare financial statements, notes to accounts etc. 7. Actively participate and support internal and statutory audits 8. Quarterly audits at branches 9. Must be working with ERP accounting software 10. Must be flexible in taking up tasks assigned by your manager or CFO Required experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in “full cycle accounting” is required
