Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential new clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to prospective clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to align business development strategies and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of business with clients and partners.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects, track progress using CRM software, and report on business development metrics.
  • Attend industry events, networking sessions, and conferences to represent the company and expand its reach.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven track record (3-7 years) in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven attitude.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in IT industry.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
