About the Position:

We are looking for a Manager to join the Purchase, Propulsion Solutions team, reporting directly to the Head, Purchasing.

This position is based at our office in Manesar, India

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Conducting SRE(Supplier Risk Evaluations) for regular &  new potential suppliers.
• Cost estimation for new BOM initiatives & regular RM/Forex settlement.
• Launching RFQs to various suppliers for BOM parts of new projects & alternate sourcing.
• Responsible for internal & external audits as a departmental representative.
• MIS preparation for Purchasing Index & Budget monitoring.
• Real time communication with central & global level commodity experts.
• Maintenance of necessary supplier documentations like GTC & QAs.
• Conducting negotiations with suppliers based upon zero based costing.
• Generating VA/VE ideas thereby implementing them into SOP.
• Regular PDR/ECNs monitoring.
• Conducting regular suppliers' audits for their continuous improvement activities.
• Support for promoting energy saving techniques and take a part in energy efficient methods

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Btech Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics

Other skills that we would welcome:

• Application and management of the indicators regarding safety ,health & environment
• Responsible for promoting energy and ecofriendly techniques to suppliers , promote to adopt safe work practice
• Knowledge of machinery buying & other Capex
• Negotiation & Costing skills
• Excel & Presentation skills
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
• Communication skills
• Enforce all applicable legal compliance w.r.t EHS and EnMS
• Ensure the behavior of the product in all the stages of life in accordance with all applicable guidelines i.e. RoHS , EnMS ,EMS ,OH&S etc.
• Responsible for communicating EHS and EnMS standard to suppliers

Expectations from you in this position:

Need Mechanical background with Machining and plastic/ rubber parts experience

15-19years of experience in same kind of industry
