THE POSITION
The PMO cum Resource Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing project management activities and optimizing resource utilization within the organization. This individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management processes, tools, and methodologies, while also managing resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
ROLE OVERVIEW & REQUIREMENTS
- Develop, implement, and maintain project management processes and standards in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.- Provide guidance and support to project managers in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.- Facilitate project review meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues and risks.- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to forecast resource requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.- Allocate resources effectively to optimize utilization and ensure project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.- Monitor resource availability and utilization, and make adjustments as necessary to meet changing project demands.- Track service delivery utilization against project milestones at periodic basis to ensure this is reported to Head of Delivery on actuals Vs baseline- Conduct regular assessments of resource capacity and identify opportunities for optimization.- Develop and maintain resource forecasting models to anticipate future demand and inform hiring and training initiatives.- Generate regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management review.- Conduct analysis of project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.- Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and escalations.- Communicate project status, resource allocations, and potential risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.- Write and review CRs and Statement of Work along with the Project Managers

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Proven experience of 8-10 years in project management and resource management roles.- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.- Experience working in (industry/sector) is a plus.
