We are building a service platform that connects users with ironing shops (istriwalas) for on-demand and scheduled services.
We are looking for a Backend Developer experienced in Python and Django
to design, develop, and maintain a scalable backend that supports authentication, QR code workflows, order management, payments, subscriptions, and real-time features.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python and Django.


• Implement user authentication and account management.


• Build QR code generation & verification features for order validation.


• Integrate PostgreSQL for structured data storage and management.


• Develop order management logic with slot-based scheduling and daily order limits.


• Integrate secure payment gateways for one-time and subscription payments.


• Implement subscription plans and control feature access accordingly.


• Ensure backend scalability and maintainability with modular Django app structure.


• Write unit tests and maintain API documentation.

Requirements


• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.


• Experience with PostgreSQL and Django ORM.


• Familiarity with RESTful API development.


• Experience in integrating payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe, Paytm).


• Knowledge of QR code generation & verification in Python.


• Understanding of scheduling & job queues (Celery or RQ).


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-concurrency scenarios.

• Experience with Redis for caching or real-time data storage.


• Experience with WebSockets (Django Channels or FastAPI) for live updates.


• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and deployment to cloud platforms.
