About Position

As an API governance leader, you will be responsible for defining standards, ensuring security, and overseeing the entire API lifecycle to maintain consistency and compliance. Additionally, you will monitor performance, facilitate team collaboration, and ensure comprehensive documentation and training.

- Role: API Governance- Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore- Experience: 8-12 years- Job Type: FTime Employment

What You'll Do

- Define and enforce API governance policies: This involves creating guidelines and standards for API design, development, deployment, and use. You'll ensure consistency, security, and compliance across the organization's API landscape.- Manage the API lifecycle: You'll be involved in all stages of an API's existence, from initial design through to deployment, versioning, and retirement.- Maintain a central API registry: This involves creating a catalog of all the organization's APIs to ensure everyone is aware of what exists and how to use them.- Implement API security measures: You'll be responsible for ensuring that APIs are protected from unauthorized access and other security threats.- Monitor API usage and performance: You'll track how APIs are being used and identify any issues that may arise.- Collaborate with stakeholders: This could include developers, product managers, and business leaders. You'll need to communicate effectively to ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes to API governance.

Expertise You'll Bring

- 10 Years of IT Experience- Understanding of API design principles and best practices, such as OpenAPI Specs- Experience with API management tools and platforms.- Strong understanding of security considerations for APIs- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Problem-solving and analytical skills
