Instructional Designer and Content Manager

Position Overview:We are seeking a talented
Instructional Designer and Content Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and leadership development, with the ability to create engaging content from various sources such as books and other educational materials. This role involves crafting scripts for educational videos, collaborating with publishers to acquire new courses, and curating content to ensure it aligns with our platform's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Research and synthesize information from books, articles, and other authoritative sources to develop comprehensive course materials.Design and develop engaging micro-learning modules that cater to diverse learning styles.Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with current practices.Create clear, concise, and engaging scripts for educational videos.Collaborate with video producers and graphic designers to bring scripts to life visually.Adapt complex leadership concepts into accessible content suitable for a wide audience.Review and organize existing content on the platform to enhance user experience.Curate third-party content that complements our in-house materials.Maintain a content calendar to schedule regular updates and new releases.Identify and reach out to publishers and content creators for potential collaborations.Negotiate contracts and licensing agreements to acquire high-quality courses.Manage relationships with external partners to ensure ongoing content contributions.Implement feedback mechanisms to continually improve content quality.Conduct regular reviews to ensure all materials meet educational standards and platform guidelines.Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate the latest best practices into the content.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and technical support.Provide training and guidance to team members on content-related matters.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align content strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or a similar role.Proven experience in creating educational content, preferably in leadership or professional development.Experience with micro-learning platforms and e-learning technologies.Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.Strong ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content.Proficiency in content management systems and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with external partners.Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).Understanding of copyright laws and content licensing agreements.Up-to-date with the latest trends in leadership development and micro-learning methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in scriptwriting for educational or training videos.Existing network within the publishing or educational content industry.Ability to analyze learning metrics and user feedback to inform content improvements.
