Manager - Technology Program Management

PMO Manager: 812 years of project/program management experience, including 35 years managing Project/Program Managers. Proven ability to deliver large, complex technology initiatives in a hands-on leadership capacity. Deep understanding of the technology project lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and operational transition. Strong skills in risk management, dependency resolution, and stakeholder communication at all levels. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and elevate PMs/Program Managers while staying actively involved in execution. Preferred: PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications (SAFe, CSM, PMI-ACP). Experience with enterprise portfolio and delivery tools (e.g., ServiceNow PPM, Clarity, Jira/Confluence). Background in technology organizations with capital and operational project funding. Experience in large, matrixed organizations managing concurrent initiatives. Success in This Role: Direct reports (PMs and Program Managers) consistently deliver projects on time, on budget, and with intended outcomes. The PMO is seen as a hands-on delivery partner, not just a reporting function. Executives and stakeholders trust PMO reporting because it is grounded in real delivery engagement, not just status aggregation.
