JD:

  • Schedule and assign tasks to staff, ensuring sufficient coverage during peak hours.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address any performance-related issues.
  • Answers customers' questions, resolves problems, and maintains customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources.
  • Set reasonable customer satisfaction goals and work with the team to meet them on a consistent basis
  • Track daily sales and operational performance, reporting to senior management with insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of stock, proper inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all service and operational targets are met.
  • Maintain regular communication with management to provide updates on floor activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of proven textile experience as a Floor Manager, or supervisory role within a retail Showroom or service environment.
  • Proficiency in handling operational tasks, including inventory management and staff scheduling.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and operational management tools.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management or retail management software systems.
