Join our engineering team and play a key role in bringing innovative products to life As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design and prototyping phases, ensuring our new products meet rigorous quality and engineering standards. Your expertise will guarantee the accuracy, manufacturability, and reliability of our designs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineers to design and advance mechanical components and systems for new products.
  • Utilize CAD tools (preferably Creo/SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
  • Apply
    Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
    principles to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
  • Participate in
    Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    to identify and mitigate potential design issues.
  • Conduct
    structural analysis
    to validate the integrity and performance of designs.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, providing valuable feedback and implementing improvements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of the design process and testing results.
  • Undertake other relevant duties to support the team's objectives.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' quota-carrying sales experience
  • Applied knowledge of
    DFM, DFA, GD&T
    , and experience with
    FMEA
    and
    structural analysis
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
