QA / Software Testing Engineer (Remote)

Company DescriptionOur client, a fast-growing Software Development Company based in the US, is seeking a Part-Time QA / Software Testing Engineer for a short-term engagement lasting up to 3 months. You'll work closely with product, IT, and development teams to ensure software quality, deliver robust automated/manual tests, and help optimize the release cycle of high-volume retail, supply chain, and e-commerce platforms. This opportunity suits an engineer skilled in hands-on testing, documentation, test automation, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applicationsExecute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testingTrack, report, and manage defects using tools like JIRACollaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve bugsMaintain and improve test documentation and coverage standardsMinimum Qualifications:2+ years of hands-on experience in software QA or testing rolesProficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium)Strong expertise in manual testing and defect reportingSome Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environmentsFamiliarity with API testing and database validation (SQL, Postman)Effective English communication and documentation skills.Pay & Benefits:Short-term, part-time consulting (up to 3 months, flexible hours)Competitive hourly or retainer-based payment optionsFully remote work with US-based team collaborationProfessional growth and global project exposureNo additional employment benefits (contractor status applies)100% remote, flexible working hours aligned with US business needs.
