QA / Software Testing Engineer (Remote)

Company Description Our client, a fast-growing Software Development Company based in the US, is seeking a Part-Time QA / Software Testing Engineer for a short-term engagement lasting up to 3 months. You'll work closely with product, IT, and development teams to ensure software quality, deliver robust automated/manual tests, and help optimize the release cycle of high-volume retail, supply chain, and e-commerce platforms. This opportunity suits an engineer skilled in hands-on testing, documentation, test automation, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing Track, report, and manage defects using tools like JIRA Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve bugs Maintain and improve test documentation and coverage standardsMinimum Qualifications: 2+ years of hands-on experience in software QA or testing roles Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) Strong expertise in manual testing and defect reporting Some Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments Familiarity with API testing and database validation (SQL, Postman) Effective English communication and documentation skills.Pay & Benefits: Short-term, part-time consulting (up to 3 months, flexible hours) Competitive hourly or retainer-based payment options Fully remote work with US-based team collaboration Professional growth and global project exposure No additional employment benefits (contractor status applies) 100% remote, flexible working hours aligned with US business needs.
