About Us: The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India’s largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros; WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we have also expanded to new categories and introduced new product lines like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes etc. We have also launched footwear and kidswear recently. Although we are primarily an online brand, we’ve expanded in the offline retail space as well and have stores in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune and Indore. If you identify with what we do and are interested in being a part of an aggressively growing brand, we would love to have you on Board Work Overview : As a Sourcing Specialist for Bags & Luggage, you will manage the end-to-end sourcing process for our ever expanding line of accessories. This role involves working closely with suppliers, negotiating costs, and ensuring that all sourced items meet our brand’s quality, style, and ethical standards. Our current lineup includes backpacks, sling bags and we are also looking at expanding into other luggage items and other accessories. Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers who can deliver high-quality bags and accessories that meet brand requirements and deadlines. Collaborate with design and product teams to source materials and samples for new accessory lines, ensuring alignment with design specifications and pop culture trends. Partner with the quality control team to establish and enforce product standards, conducting sample checks to ensure all products align with the brand's quality and safety requirements. Work towards sourcing sustainable materials and ensuring compliance with ethical sourcing guidelines, including fair labor practices. Maintain detailed records of sourcing activities, including cost analysis, supplier agreements, and order timelines to support decision-making and financial planning. Coordinate with design, marketing, and inventory teams to ensure all sourced products are aligned with overall brand strategy and inventory needs. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of sourcing experience, preferably within the realm of bags/accessories; experience with pop culture brands or products is a strong plus. Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of sourcing processes and supply chain management. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards for accessories and soft goods. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and product lines simultaneously. Familiarity with ethical sourcing and sustainable materials, and commitment to adhering to these standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with ERP or sourcing software is a plus.
