Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and visually appealing online stores. If you are a skilled developer with a passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of Shopify, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites. Extending theme’s functionality for custom cart, custom filters or similar requirements Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand the key problem and implement the solution with the right approach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Required Skills: Experience with any of the front-end Java Script libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc. Competence in Vanilla Java Script (ES6) including async javascript Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI) Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Qualification: 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with Shopify development is advantageous. Strong knowledge of shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous Portfolio of past projects demonstrating the required skills and experience. Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem. Experience with API testing and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping apps). Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores. Technical Skills: Cross-browser testing tools (Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, etc.) Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana) Responsive testing tools (Chrome Dev Tools, Responsinator, Browser Dev Tools) Familiarity with Shopify themes, Liquid, Shopify Plus, and Shopify Admin is a plus Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
