Job Title: Software Development Engineer II (Frontend/Full Stack) Location: Remote/Hybrid Experience: 2–6 years About the Role We’re looking for an SDE-II who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can own features end-to-end—from idea to deployment. You’ll build scalable web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native, while working closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences. This is not a “just write code” role—you’ll be involved in architecture decisions, performance optimization, and mentoring junior engineers, while also staying hands-on with development. Key Responsibilities Design & Build: Develop high-quality, scalable, and performant front-end experiences using React.js (web) and React Native (mobile). Ownership: Take features from concept → design → development → deployment with minimal supervision. Architecture: Contribute to system design discussions, ensuring code is modular, reusable, and maintainable. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Best Practices: Drive adoption of engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization. Mentorship: Support and guide junior developers, uplifting overall team velocity and quality. Innovation: Proactively identify improvements in UI/UX, performance, and scalability. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1+ years in React Native. Strong Java Script/Type Script skills, including ES6+ concepts. Hands-on with state management (Redux, Recoil, Zustand, or Context API). Solid understanding of REST APIs, Graph QL, and Web Sockets. Experience with mobile build pipelines (Android/i OS app store submissions, OTA updates). Familiarity with performance tuning on web & mobile (lazy loading, bundle optimization, offline handling). Exposure to backend integration and working knowledge of Node.js is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Fair understanding of System Architecture Design. Startup mindset—Bias for action, Ownership, and Comfortable with ambiguity. Nice to Haves Experience with React Native modules and native bridges. Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, and crash reporting tools (Firebase, Amplitude, Sentry, etc.). Contributions to open-source projects or personal apps on App Store/Play Store.
