We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Data Engineer and Data Analyst, to join our dynamic team in a challenging environment. Your role will involve harnessing the power of data to aid decision-making across product and finance teams to help achieve ambitious objectives. In this role, you will be working directly with founding team members, product, and finance teams in addition to working closely with development teams during sprints.

Successful performance in this role will be marked by the quality of insights derived from data, the effectiveness of data visualization, and the positive impact on the team’s strategic decisions.

This role is

Bangalore-based

and you will be required to work from the office.

You’ll be responsible for —

Developing and managing interactive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio / Connected Google Sheets.Writing, optimizing, and executing complex SQL queries/data models.Maintaining and enhancing our data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (i.e. BigQuery).Ensuring data integrity by validating and testing data.Leveraging Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.Being a data SPOC for the wider Product / Finance Team and helping them with daily/weekly/monthly data extraction or analysis.Closely support Founders, Product team, and other teams with both ad hoc and planned analyses.Leveraging data and helping with recommendations and strategiesBacking the product roadmap to ensure scale goals are met.Understanding and implementing data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics, and BI systems.Monitoring and driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Collaborating closely with the development team to ensure correct data instrumentation.Ensuring pristine data integrity by validating and testing data for Product / Finance use cases.

You need —

4-8 years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or a Senior Data Analyst.Strong and reliable SQL skills - strong experience with writing optimized SQL / Window functions / Partitioning.To have experience with BI, data visualization, and reporting tools like Google Looker Studio / Power BI / Tableau.To have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.To have experience with additional data analytics tools like Amplitude / Mixpanel / Google Analytics / Clevertap etc.To be proficient in Python.To have some experience in the E-sports / Online & Mobile Gaming industry.Excellent attention to detail.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.To be a self-starter who can work well with minimal-to-no-guidance in a fluid environment.To have the agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope, and priorities.To work from the office and be based out of Bangalore (or be willing to relocate) for this role.Strong SQL skills (Experience with writing optimized SQL / Window functions /Partitioning).Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.Experience with data integration and analytics tools like Amplitude / Mixpanel / GoogleAnalytics / Clevertap etc.Experience with BI, data visualization, and reporting tools like Google Looker Studio / Power BI / Tableau.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred proficiency with Python programming language.Preferred experience in the E-sports / Online & Mobile Gaming industry.
