Line Producer (with Video Editing Skills)

Position: Line Producer – Video & Content Production
Location: (Chennai / On-site / Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Line Producer with video editing expertise to manage end-to-end production while also contributing to post-production. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and budgeting skills along with hands-on editing ability. This hybrid role demands both leadership and creativity, ensuring smooth execution of shoots and delivery of polished content.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Line Producer

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the entire production process.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, call sheets, and logistics.
  • Hire and manage crew, vendors, and resources.
  • Ensure timely execution of shoots within budget.
  • Coordinate between creative, technical, and post-production teams.

As an Editor

  • Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos.
  • Add graphics, transitions, music, subtitles, and sound effects.
  • Ensure the final output matches creative and brand guidelines.
  • Optimize videos for digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Maintain organized project files and media backups.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Producer in film, TV, or digital content.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and crew management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong storytelling, visual, and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with production management tools (StudioBinder, Movie Magic, Google Workspace).
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics / animation.
  • Awareness of content trends across social and digital media.
