Job Summary :

- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior GCP Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team.

- As a Senior GCP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform.

- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and reliable solutions on GCP.

- Develop and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

- Lead the implementation of GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and others.

- Automate deployment, configuration, and management of GCP resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).

- Monitor and optimize the performance of GCP infrastructure to ensure efficient resource utilization.

- Implement cost-effective solutions and strategies for optimizing cloud expenses.

- Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data security and privacy.

- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate GCP services into the overall technology stack.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

- Investigate and resolve issues related to GCP infrastructure, collaborating with support teams as needed.

- Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

- Stay abreast of the latest GCP features, services, and best practices.

- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the existing infrastructure with emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.

- In-depth knowledge of GCP services, networking, security, and identity management.

- Experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.

- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer are a plus.
