The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies when needed, and ensuring the successful, timely delivery of projects. This role involves acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, analyzing requirements, and guiding the team towards delivering value-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into detailed specifications for IT teams. Process Analysis : Evaluate current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and provide actionable recommendations to decision-makers. Project Coordination : Work with project teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Solution Design & Testing : Develop and test business solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with business objectives before deployment. Documentation Management : Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business cases, process flows, functional specifications, user manuals, and testing protocol Scrum Facilitation : Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage sprint planning, and support agile practices within the team to ensure timely and effective delivery.Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Proven experience(5+ Years)as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst role, with expertise in documentation, application testing, team management, and requirements analysis Strong understanding of business processes, data modelling, and agile project management methodologies Proficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring team members Knowledge of Agile project management methodologiesPreferred Skills & Qualifications Master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is a plus Experience in the maritime industry is a plus Familiarity with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart) and/or programming languagesKey Competencies Leadership & Team Management : Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team to achieve high performance.
