Role Overview

We are seeking a
QA/Test Engineer
with 2–3 years of experience in testing SaaS applications. You will be responsible for preparing and executing test cases, identifying issues, and working closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure product quality across web, API, and performance layers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and execute
    manual & automated test cases
    .
  • Perform
    functional, regression, smoke, load, and sprint testing
    .
  • Conduct
    API testing
    and automate where required (e.g., with Postman or similar tools).
  • Write and maintain
    unit/integration test cases
    using
    Jest
    (JavaScript testing framework).
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and scrum masters in an
    Agile/Scrum
    setup.
  • Track bugs, sprints, and test cycles effectively using
    Jira
    .
  • Provide clear documentation of issues and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure critical thinking is applied to edge cases, user experience, and system reliability.

Must-Have Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in
    software testing
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    Agile/Scrum methodology
    .
  • Experience with
    Jira
    for tracking and reporting.
  • Proficiency in
    test case preparation and execution
    .
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Jest
    for automated testing
  • API testing
    tools (Postman, etc.)
  • Load testing
    frameworks (e.g., JMeter, Locust)
  • Regression, smoke, and sprint testing

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to
    CI/CD pipelines
    for test automation.
  • Understanding of
    SaaS product testing
    and multi-region deployments.
  • Knowledge of
    performance/security testing
    .
