 position title: manager – logistics department: logistics location: gurgaon experience required: 4+ years industry preference: diagnostics education: mba preferred about us redcliffe labs is india’s fastest growing omnichannel pan india diagnostics service provider having its services in 220+ cities through a network of 80+ owned advanced labs and 2000+ collection centres powered by home sample collection across india. we are on a mission to provide quality healthcare services at affordable rates, making diagnostics easily accessible and convenient to one and all. role summary the manager – logistics will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day home sample collection logistics, ensuring timely pickups, temperature compliance, operational efficiency, and superior customer satisfaction. the role involves supervising supervisors, executives, and riders, optimizing routes, managing vendor partnerships, controlling costs, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards. key responsibilities logistics operations management oversee daily logistics operations to ensure timely sample pickup and delivery to the laboratory. ensure full compliance with cold chain protocols to maintain sample integrity. plan and manage pickup routes, schedules, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency. team & vendor coordination lead and supervise logistics supervisors, executives, and riders to achieve operational targets. coordinate with third-party vendors, fleet partners, and courier agencies to maintain service quality. conduct daily briefings to communicate schedules, productivity expectations, service levels, and targets. process compliance & quality ensure adherence to sops, nabl/iso/icmr standards, and company policies for sample handling. track and review key kpis such as route adherence, on-time sample handover %, and pickup fulfillment %. implement and monitor temperature control systems to maintain cold chain integrity during transit. cost & resource management monitor logistics costs including kilometers travelled, fleet utilization, vendor payouts, and manpower allocation. identify and implement cost optimization and route efficiency improvements without compromising service quality. stakeholder collaboration collaborate with sales, operations, and lab teams to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery. manage escalations related to delayed pickups, operational disruptions, or exception handling. reporting & analysis prepare daily and weekly mis reports covering bookings, fulfillment performance, cost metrics, and kpis. share insights and data-driven recommendations with senior leadership for operational improvements. skills & competencies strong understanding of logistics operations, last-mile delivery, or diagnostic logistics. knowledge of cold chain management and temperature-controlled transportation. excellent leadership, team management, and vendor handling skills. strong analytical and reporting abilities with proficiency in ms excel, logistics erp tools, or management software. ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment. key deliverables temperature compliance & cold chain integrity route optimization & cost efficiency team productivity & sop adherence on-time sample pickup % / handover compliance % preferred profile 4+ years of experience in logistics/operations within diagnostics, healthcare, e-commerce, or last-mile delivery. hands-on experience in home sample collection logistics is highly preferred. strong exposure to route management, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.
