Profile hiring for Founders Office: Sales

Reporting to: Founders


Whom are we looking for?

We seek an ambitious and a self-starter individual at the Founders Office who will play a critical role in driving Treelife’s sales efforts, working closely with the founders to execute strategic sales initiatives, manage key accounts/clients, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Treelife. This role requires a high level of autonomy, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.


What will be your key responsibilities?

A Founders Office role is one which entails driving and taking ownership of multiple things at once. Amongst other things, the focal point of this role is to drive, monitor and ideate sales for the organisation along with the founders. Hence, the broad categorisation of the work includes but is not limited to the below:


1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals, and collaborate with founders to define sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities

2. Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders at client organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations to understand and address each client's unique needs and challenges, tailor solutions to their business objectives, and professionally handle any objections or concerns.

3. Sales & After Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Oversee and ideate with founders on after sales operations
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities using CRM software.
  • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and performance metrics.

5. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and use various lead-generation techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, social networking, and attending industry events, to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.


What are the key requirements for the role?

  • 4-6 years of B2B sales experience with a focus on new business generation, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Agility and Open Mindedness are a must
  • Take ownership of tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Adapt and learn new services and technical jargon to better serve clients.
  • In-depth understanding of B2B sales processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM softwares/ Gsuite and other technologies
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A strategic thinker with a data-driven decision-making approach.
