Skills Required :
Radiographic Testing Knowledge : Proficiency in industrial radiographic inspection methods, including x-ray and gamma-ray techniques.
Safety Awareness : Knowledge of radiation safety standards, and the ability to work in compliance with safety protocols to protect oneself and others.
Technical Proficiency : Ability to operate and maintain radiographic equipment such as x-ray machines, gamma radiography equipment, and associated tools.
Attention to Detail : Capable of accurately interpreting radiographic images to identify defects or irregularities in materials and structures.
Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding findings and safety concerns.
Certification : Valid Industrial Radiographer Certification Level 1 or 2, as per the required standards.
Responsibilities :
Conduct Radiographic Inspections : Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using radiographic methods to evaluate the integrity of materials and structures.
Interpret Results : Analyze radiographic films or digital images to detect any defects, corrosion, or structural issues in materials, providing detailed reports.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure radiation safety for yourself, colleagues, and the surrounding environment.
Equipment Maintenance : Regularly inspect and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely.
