Pioneer Global Recruitment seeks a skilled Industrial Radiographer to join our team in Malaysia. This role involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using radiographic methods to evaluate the integrity of materials and structures.

Salary: MYR 1,200 – 1,500 per month

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in industrial radiography. As an Industrial Radiographer, you will be responsible for conducting radiographic inspections, interpreting results, and ensuring safety compliance. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail will be crucial in accurately identifying defects or irregularities in materials and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Radiographic Inspections: Perform NDT using radiographic methods to evaluate the integrity of materials and structures.
  • Interpret Results: Analyze radiographic films or digital images to detect any defects, corrosion, or structural issues in materials, providing detailed reports.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure radiation safety for yourself, colleagues, and the surrounding environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely.

Requirements:

  • Radiographic Testing Knowledge: Proficiency in industrial radiographic inspection methods, including x-ray and gamma-ray techniques.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of radiation safety standards, and the ability to work in compliance with safety protocols to protect oneself and others.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate and maintain radiographic equipment such as x-ray machines, gamma radiography equipment, and associated tools.
  • Certification: Valid Industrial Radiographer Certification Level 1 or 2, as per the required standards.
